The Amazon Parrots are a wide and diverse group of medium sized, colourful parrots originating from the Americas (particularly South and Central America). They are famed for the ability to talk and great pet qualities. Within Australia a number of species of Amazon Parrot (many still rare) are kept and bred with the future eye on the pet market. We at Perky Parrots keep and breed the Blue-fronted, Double Yellow-headed and Yellow-crowned Amazon. All three make great pets and have requirments similar to each other.
